Inspiration: Bowie – Restoration in Xanadu, 2019 (digital SLR photography) by Erika S. Kuciw Bowie Series: David Bowie was not only an incredible artist, but an incredible work of art. His exploration of what it means to be human through breaking boundaries of fashion and music included presenting himself often as something alien, beyond gender or sexuality, or any categorization otherwise - yet he found a way to make it chic, glamorous, fun. His impact on multiple generations of artists is insurmountable. Following Bowie’s death, I began to ponder about the alien in each of us - and found an interest in uncovering the joy in exposing our inner Bowie, or some other creature beyond our daily mask - thereby uncovering the joy in being human.

He is not front-line clinical staff, but he does provide onsite support - allowing front line clinical staff to do their jobs without getting distracted by IT issues. Whether at work or in his personal life, Robert has a reputation of being a human superhero - to close friends, colleagues, and strangers. He is an essential worker, and he is an essential friend in my life.
